Does anyone update from Plymouth Mi or the east side of the state for that matter? All I see are Grand Rapids updates. Really miss the old train location updates.

Missing? What exactly is going on over there for the new station?
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

There usually are several people that update from the east side of the state. Not sure where they or the others who normally post are today either.

So guess what I did today...a vacation day!!! The National Weather Service and our local meteorologists predicted that today would be sunny, clear, and delightful!
So off we went to search for some railroad activity and to capture a bit of history for future generations with the wonderful colors of early fall. Only one little problem though, IT WAS DARK AND CLOUDY ALL DAY FROM WEST OLIVE ALL THE WAY TO BANGOR. :x :x :x

And one other little issue, NO TRAINS RUNNING ANYWHERE SOUTH OF HOLLAND THIS AFTERNOON. ALL SIGNALS FROM HOLLAND TO BANGOR RED. :x

And when we returned to Holland, there on the M40 crossing are the maintainers busy welding away on the mainline. And then, when we arrived back home around 4:30 PM, the clouds parted and the sun shines down upon us.

Fail.

NB CSX on Lincoln Secondary had a pedestrain strike between West and Inkster. News reporting it as a "stalled" train. Huron Township on the scene. It is presumably an adult male, talked to his mother as this happened right by my house. Old ex Seaboard YN3 SD40-2 leading. Happened in the last hour, pretty sad. Inkster Road is blocked but train is stopped south of King. Not posting pics because body wasn't covered yet.
