Second day in a row X500 through Zeeland right at 7:25. One unit (9812 I believe) pulling today

Went to bed around 11:45pm last night, heard an odd sounding horn on NS, then woke up to another NS at 6am, not sure of directions..useful update, eh?

Heard Amtrak P37118 with Amtrak #34 leading. Saw a CSX hi-rail truck looking around Hamilton for a couple minutes. Hamilton Farmers Co-op had 5 hoppers on site. Nada else going on during the drive from Kzoo to Holland.

Based on the times you posted (and nothing else), I'd guess your first (11:45pm) horn was either 38J northbound or else B-17 scrambling into the yard from Three Rivers... The second horn around 6AM was probably 37E southbound but also could have been an early 39J.

Well there was a Q327 today cleared Plymouth around 4:00ish. Don't have my camera handy so not sure of the engine numbers lead engine was an ES44DC 54?? second was an C40-8. Had about 15 coal cars for Lansing(?) and I'd say maybe 20-30 mixed freight cars(I don't count them sorry)

Q327-18 had CSX 5498-7549 for power same power as Q326 had going east yesterday. 48 cars total, 37 for Ensel. They were in the pass for X500-17 CP 9812 by Howell at 1725 hrs.

Todays D708-18 actually made it to International Paper to give them a switch for the first time in 19 DAYS!!! Conductor jokingly said, (but perhaps not) IP was so glad to see them there were streamers falling from the ceiling on the inside, and fireworks going off on the outside.
