amessmann says: D708 calling EE Brighton at 16:32 - sounded like they said "D708 west" but I don't recall them going to South Lyon today.
Must be running around their train again.[/quote]

They did not go to South Lyon today. Ran around the 35 GLC cars they had in their train and brought them back to Howell. GLC here waiting for them and plucked them right off the main as soon as they cut off. 708 then backed into the siding to pick up the 66 cars GLC sat off last night and departed back for Lansng at 6:25pm. Currently at Ogihara picking up the four cars they left behind yesterday, which may be four Ogihara scrap loads. They will take those four cars into the yard and leave the other 66 at Trowbridge for there is no room for them anywhere else. Good night.

At 8:26pm, heard Dispatch asking D705-28 "how many cars will you be dropping off?". I'm assuming Dispatch was referring to D705's Lansing/Ensel work?

I forgot to post about it but D705 made its way through EE South Lyon at 6:44 same locomotives and car count that SW reported. Amessmann thought It might be that they were gaining speed to get up the hill into Brighton? I have also starting seeing many more refrigerator box cars. What industry’s around here would those be going to? Just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who has helped me see trains since September when I joined. Looking back at my old posts I see how annoying I was when I was frantically asking about every train and where it was. Thanks again to you all. Good night.

Yes. That’s why D708 isn’t dropping their whole train in Ensel. D705 needs room to work, make set off and make pickup.

Thanks for the heads ups Micah. If it means anything, I still make mistakes on my posts and am annoying.

Spotted what I’m guessing is a stopped D706 on the 28th street overpass. I’m guessing their head end is around Schaffer?
