Amtrak P370-25 @ 22:10 eastward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG44.2 St Pearl, Mi with 18 (+2 axle error) axles. IDTX engine #4612 & 3 cars. Engineer reported "call it in'

L302-25 @ 22:13 getting yarding instructions at Wyoming Yard with CSX engines #5491 + #3177 & 91 cars, roughly 5300 ft long. These will be tomorrow’s M327-26 power.

CSX #911 and CSX #3131 (elephant style?) will be on L303-26

Possibly an empty coal train E800/E801 will run overnight

L303-25 cleared the west end of Howell at 19:00. Just like 302 & 305 did, thru the siding around the GLC cars parked on the main by yesterday's L305 because GLC said they would be down to get them, but did not. Counted 159 cars on L303 but may have been way off. Hoping someone sees the train or gets an axle count east of me. L302 earlier had 3177 trailing behind 5491. L305-25 today did have 8016 paired with 8066. 8016 replacing 8199. Nice pair of 8000 series units on L305 now.

The GLC was there this morning to pull the cars and leave 59 for CSX. But the FRA inspector bad ordered several of the cars on the main. Don't be surprised if L305 has to pull all the cars back to Lansing.

L304-25 @ 00:09 had copied their EC1 at Ensel to deliver 1 car to JAIL with CSX engines #8066 + #8016. Then, they had headed eastward to Howell to pick up 15 bad order cars & bring them into Lansing.

An overnight grain empty went west by Howell at 02:11 this morning. Have not a clue what the train number, head end power, or the amount of cars was. Heard the strong sound of EMD locomotives as it went by. It is possible it could have gone to Webberville. Perhaps amessmann or someone can check it out if they go by the plant.

What you reported as an empty grain train was L304 grabbing cars from the main at Howell. No grain trains currently.
