L302-01 CSX engines #66 + #461 + 1 & 63 cars. Wondering if the 3rd engine is the CSX #8017?

8017 was taken east by L303 on Thursday 05/26, to my knowledge it has not come back west.

CSX8017 went south out of Rougemere on Q51127 on 5/27!

CSX 8017 was on Virtual Railfan YouTube channel video pulling a manifest in La Grange, KY on 5/31/22

L303-02 by Howell at 17:38 with 89 cars. 461+66 on the head end.

Thru Brighton at 17:55, looks like in wyeing 8619, 66 and 461 got flipped too. 66 now leading east.

This is a bit confusing for me, especially, since I don't know how things are done on that territory. L303-02 had made their Grand Rapids job briefing saying the CSX engine order was #66 + #461 + #8619. L303 had copied their EC1 for Lake Odessa/Ensel at 1:25pm at mp CH140.5 and had also stated then their leader was CSXT #66. Where was the CSX #8619 dropped off and where would they Wye their engines?

8619 was spun in Grand Rapids along with 66 and 461. The order of the engines on L303 today was 66, 461 and 8619. 8619 was supposed to be dropped in Lansing.

Q326-02 @ 20:04 eastward reported by the DD mp CG91.9 St Joseph, Mi with 448 axles & 6,228 feet long. CSX engines #253 + #718 & 109 cars. This pair of engines have been running on both Q326 & Q327 starting with Q326 on May 31st. Many thanks to K1NGxBONDx007 for being track side & reporting

R597-02 with CSX engines #3138 + #717 lite power is departing West Olive & is meeting Q326 at Wells mp CG41.4 & swapping his CSX #717 with Q326’s CSX #718 for reasons not known. R597-02 will tie down in Wells.

That engine swap plan between R597-02 & Q326-02 is really going to delay Amtrak for his Holland & Grand Rapids station stops. Amtrak will have to follow Q326. If they wanted to do engine swaps, they should have done that inside Grand Rapids.

Sounds like there may have been a change in plans: Q326-02 eastward @ 21:43, main to siding, Wells mp CG43.3

Q326-02 @ 21:48 eastward reported by the DD mp CG44.2 Pearl, Mi with ?? axles & ?? feet long. He's traveling too slow for the HBD system to collect data due to him diverging into Wells siding at mp CG43.3 Once they were inside Wells they had found the crew for R597 left & Q326 has no cab to assist in the power swap. Q326 had said to Dispatch "I don't know why we just didn't do this power swap in Grand Rapids".

R597-02 with CSX engines #3138 + #717 lite power is departing West Olive & is meeting Q326 at Wells mp CG41.4 & swapping his CSX #717 with Q326’s CSX #718 for reasons not known. R597-02 will tie down in Wells.

This plan has once again changed: R597's crew had left Wells in their cab without advising Q326. There was no way Q326 out there alone, & with no cab being sent to them, were they going to make a swap for just the trailing engines between the 2 pairs of engines. So, with Q326's train inside Wells siding, the crew took all 4 engines from the east end of Wells to the west end.
They will tie down Q326's original power, CSX engines #253 + #718 inside the west end of Wells & at 23:00 they were moving, main to siding, at the east end of Wells with CSX engines #717 + #3138 to become the new power for their train.
