CN Updates March 2017

Little late of a report but I have been in and our today.

At 9:30 am or so Train 950 with 4901 was SB past MP 22.5.

At 10:50 am or so I saw Train 515 with 3129 SB past Woodward Ave in Pontiac.

At 11:45 am or so I heard a train blowing through Pontiac and I presume it was 451. I was not near the tracks.

At 1:05 pm returning Train 950 past MP 22.5.

Train 515 flew past MP 22.5 at around 5:30 pm returning to Pontiac.

EB mixed freight through Imlay City at 12:53 with an SD70M-2, C40-8M, and an SD60.

What looks like a Train 280 is flying SB past MP 22.5 at 7:49 pm. Not a very long one.

A short 391 just went NB at 8:58 pm past MP 22.5.

GTW 6223 cleared the detector PM 34.2 southbound at 6:10 AM 92 Axels. I am guessing train 514.

Regrettably, I was just trying (and failing) to get the numbers, that I never even thought about colors.

CN 5656, BNSF 7837 (ES44DC), and IC 3117 on 451.

Thanks for the correction. I was wavering between 5656 and 5757, but thought I had the BNSF unit correct.

391 good to head north from Pontiac at 8:25 PM, with o loads and 17 empty. If I caught correctly it is CN 2259 and CN 8827.

What I believe to be 502 is good to depart south from Pontiac, at 8:25 PM

502 was down in the static I was not able to get any of the mark up, and 391 was only slightly better.

391 cleared the detector MP 34.2 Northbound at 8:3 PM 80 axels.

502 cleared the detector MP 34.2 southbound at 5:55 PM. I missed getting leading unit number, if I catch it I will post it.

That was 451 you saw.

I have not fully figured out where 451 is at the moment, but they went in to emergency. I am thinking that 451 and 502 met at Holly and 451 went into emergency shortly after that. I am barely hearing 451 on the Durand scanner feed.

Correct they did meet at Holly. I caught 451 in Davisburg at about 5:22 PM. Unfortunately I forgot to post about it. It did have the same three engines. About 15 minutes after 451, 502 came south with CN 2659 and CN 2329.
