Westbound 5264 & 980 light engines into Lansing at 22:36.

Both long hood forward. Radio chatter sounds like one needs water.

I think this was the power on the most recent Webberville grain train

They had found there was a mechanical issue & would not be able to use the engine, didn't hear which one it was. They were instructed to take the engines to Webberville mp CH68.4 The CSXT #980 + #5264 had ran yesterday as G817-01 lite power from Grand Rapids eastward to Grand Ledge.

M327-02 @ 06:23 Grand Rapids, Mi job briefing with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engines #3419? + #3395? & 59 cars (16 loads + 43 empties) @ 3,578 tons & 3,519 feet long. 1st half of his mark up was broken for his engine details, assuming these 2 engines out of the 5 engines yesterday's M326 had are on today's M327. Whereas, the #3395 was leading yesterday's M326-01 & the #3419 was its rear dpu. From radio calls heard from M327, he was getting permission to pass thru a work zone to pick p his DP engine, assuming the CSXT #3395 will be a rear dpu.

19:15 - L302-02 (890+4564) thru EE Trowbridge (Mt. Hope CH 83.0), westbound signal has a bright new bulb in the second aspect. Rear end clearing Harrison Rd. (CH 84.4) at 19:17. In the siding, towards the east end, sits a cut of cars with no power. Long train with those stone loads, in some of my favorite rolling stock, too bad models are nearly $50 each nowadays.
