L305-05 pulled engines 5292 and 7027 (power from G804-01) from Webberville on their way back to East Lansing this afternoon. G804's power sits between 8033 and 4045, and their 18 cars. Departing Webberville at 15:30.
While this was going on, ADM crews were loading the empty hoppers with their switcher.

L302-05 is to take G804's power to Grand Rapids from Ensel. Figured you might want that info Tom (and others). In addition, the signal at CH 49 is dark again, despite being serviced since I last mentioned it.

Oh, interesting, thank you for the engine info :) Do you know why they're being taken there?

It sounds like 7027 gave G804-01 a lot of trouble. The locomotive reportedly was trail only, has been having persistent PTC issues, and had a dead battery. This is a rebuild, right?
7027's headlights were working both on G804 and when L305 pulled the engines, but I thought both units shared a bus when MUed.
Given the "trail only" status of 7027, I wonder if they intend to wye the set as I imagine replacing batteries is something that could be done at Ensel.

Yes, 7027 is a rebuild.

From bullsheet: CSX 7027 YN3 CM44AC x167 (reblt from CW44AC)

M326 came with 3 DPU capable engines, why not take one of their engines and swap 7027 onto M327 tomorrow?
