CSX Train Location Updates - February 2024

R598-11 @ 13:18 copied their EC1 to depart Wells Siding mp CG41.4 & head east to the power plant in West Olive, Mi with BNSF engine #9258 & CSX engines #3201 + #3293 & 130 loaded coal cars & rear dpu BNSF engine #5943. This was C800-10 that had tied down there this morning. He'll hold in Wells Siding until Y121 clears from the Fremont sub-div.

Marked up with the RN but didn’t copy an EC1. Can’t get it with another train going both directions on the Fremont.

L301-12 @ 11:53 westward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG19.1 Zeeland, Mi with 98 axles. CSX engine #8066 & 23 cars. He’s headed west directly to Hartford mp CG68.7 & Sawyer mp CG105.2

Must’ve made an unexpected stop in Waverly yard still has not passed through Holland Michigan as of 12:09

Note: with that rail box box car tucked in right behind the engine one has to wonder if there’s not a Coloma Michigan stop in L301-12’s future.

L301-12 @ 15:45 westward reported from the Defect Detector mp CG91.9 St Joseph, Mi with 90 axles. CSX engine #8066 & 21 cars. He’s headed to Arlington Metals in Sawyer, Mi mp CG105.2 He had in fact set off that Box car in Coloma mp CG76.7 for the Menasha Paper Co.

R598-11 @ 16:01 eastward Holland, Mi Depot mp CG25.3 with BNSF engine #9258 & & CSX engines #3201 + #3293 & 130 loaded coal cars & rear dpu BNSF engine #5943. This was C800-10 that had tied down in Wells mp CG41.4 this morning. In about ½ mile he’ll diverge onto the west end of the Wye & onto the Fremont sub-division.

L301-12 @ 17:51:39 eastward Bangor, Mi Division St crossing mp CG60.93 live cam. He’ll be going into Holland mp CG25.3 for work there & then continue eastward.

L301-12 @ 18:04 eastward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG44.2 Pearl, Mi with 82 axles. CSX engine #8066 & 19 cars. He’ll be going into Holland mp CG25.3 for some work there & then head eastward.
