Possible K116 east clear mp216 at 12:48. Lite CN duo #2250 + #8815
Did anyone see if this turned south at Durand? I am told that would confirm if this was 116.
They had an advance approach passing MP 225 at 13:10, they were well past the signal before it dropped back to red, 225 is always a little slow to respond.

What is a "K116"?

I think we mean "Q116" right?

The K prefix, I'm told, is for lite power. From what I understand this was Q116 with no cargo, therefore K116. Didn't one of these run earlier in the fall too?

I thought I saw lite power at MP 22.5 on the Holly or a very short train in the late afternoon.

Yes. We have had one or two recently. Keep the power moving. They also like to use the K-symbol if a train drops its entire manifest along the way. They’ll have the crew change the symbol in the computer and then continue on. If they go back to the origination point like those Cory Yard-bound rack trains, they’ll have them run as L542 usually.

I saw this pair trucking SB through the Pontiac Yard at 14:50ish yesterday. I couldn't see the the numbers, however. One forward, one backward.
Edit: No cargo, just power.

I guess Flat Rock needs 116's power for 251 the next day.
