A big cut at the front of this train was comprised of CPKC family hoppers, including several from KCS (& Soo Line & DME). It hadn’t occurred to me till now, but CP and KCS equipment fleets are starting to intermingle just as the locomotive fleet is. I’m sure these are grain loads eventually heading to Lowell/GRE. There was also a rare Pac Man cylindrical hopper in the mix still with CP reporting marks. We frequently see ex CP cars with lessor marks, but this one was still true CP.
