Basically, I am sitting on the bad side of the online scanner where I won't be able to hear anything correctly. Very unfortunate to hear
"bad side of the online scanner"

What does that even mean? We all hear the online scanner exactly the same.
So you're telling me you heard the same conversation this morning?>>>> "exactly the same." This is what I heard from M327; .....m32723 on duty at 0900......static.......csx 5235....static..static....csx 358.........static...static....static...no dp.....ready to depart......static.......

I am not going to debate on what I heard on the scanners this morning. Being on the bad static side of the scanner when you are trying to hear a simple briefing on how many loads, empties, tonnage and length of a train.
Online scanners are the same no matter where you listen to them. I can be listening to the CSX West Michigan feed in Cancun Mexico and it will be the exact same feed you hear.

Yes, everyone listening to the online scanner hears the same exact feed. There is no "bad static side." The scanner picks up what it picks up, whether weak or strong, and we all hear that.

18:40 - L302-23 thru the EE of Brighton, 9041 + 1 and L&I 2304? leading 70 cars.
The Louisville & Indiana unit was indeed 2304 This unit is probably going to Peaker as I believe Peaker has had one of their units there before.
A Christmas time treat for railfans. I am assuming/hoping we will get to see this unit on the GR subdivision as well. Thanks for the heads up.

@ 19:37 M326-23 eastbound has not yet passed through Zeeland Michigan to the best of my knowledge.
You will not see the L&I unit west of Grand Rapids

I'm dropping the scanner static talk. Not going to exaggerate anymore.

Rouge Tower in Grand Rapids @ 9:10pm mentioned to a track inspector that M326 will arrive into Wyoming Yard tonight. Also, Tower mentioned that M326-23 was on duty at 8:30pm ET (7:30pm CT).

Would be nice to see a non CSX engine on Grand Rapids trackage, but oh well.

Have you even considered the weather outside? Radio waves can be messed with by wind, rain, snow… etc. Radio feeds are going to suck today no matter how you listen to them.

Maybe instead of pouting that everyone is proving you wrong, take the time to accept this as a learning experience on how the SuperScanner works. Lots of knowledgeable people on here that run, work on and know the ins and outs of that system.

Well considering it’s more then likely going to Brighton it has no reason going to Grand Rapids anyway, and will more then likely get dropped in Ensel.

I think I should clarify that when I was referring to the grinch I was not referring to MQT1223. Thank you sir for the sad heads up.

Thanks for all the heads up on L302-23 as I made sure I was standing trackside on the bank of the hill under the streetlight on the corner when it went by. 302 stopped again at Howell because the strong COLD wind ahead of them in combined with them moving into it, keeps causing the horn to go out, yet works again when they stop. Second unit behind 9041 was 3400. The Louisville & Indiana unit was indeed 2403. This unit is probably going to Peaker as I believe Peaker has had one of their units there before.
L302-23 @ 10:00pm WB reported at east end Grand Ledge mp 97.7; CSX #9041 + CSX #3400 + xx cars

L302-23 @ 10:16pm WB reported at DD mp 104.3 Mulliken, MI at 240 axles; CSX #9041 + CSX #3400 + 57 cars

Per ATCS Someone is tied down just outside Porter. Looks like a WB so either it's a 327 or Coal.

After 20 hours on duty, we left 327 on the main at Porter. Ns was screwed up yesterday and couldn't use the switch at Porter to get on. They we waited all night to get a cab to get to the hotel. 326 never left the yard either. Next crew was called from gr to get 327 around 10 this moring and should be making their way to Porter.

L302-24 @ 10:45 reported WB at mp 95; CSX #526 leading. Will wait for DD 104.3 to confirm engine and car count

L302-24 @ 11:06 reported WB at DD mp 104.3 Mulliken, MI at 138 axles; CSX #526 (solo) and 33 cars.
Axle count doesn’t support 2 engines at 6 axles each. Axle count does support 2 engines, 1 at 6 axles and 1 at 4 axles. (Will have to confirm when L303 runs)

L301-23 did not run
L301-24 did not run

M326-23 did NOT run
M327-24 did NOT run

M326-24 has not been heard of
M327-25 will not run until M326 runs

C800/801 has not been heard of
E800/801 has not been heard of

Pretty sure there’s a empty coal train sitting at Grand Junction mp 55.6 still with CSX power:

BNSF #6282 + 130? empty coal cars + rear BNSF #6242 + CSX #3468 + CSX #7005 DPU engines.

M326-23? eastbound passing through Zeeland Michigan @ 05:06

Note: it’s a Xmas train time miracle… too dark to get any kind of count on cars or engine numbers however there were 3 engines on the head end.
