CSX Train Location Updates - Feb. 2022

D700-08 @ 19:15 eastward Holland Depot mp 25.3 Main Track to Pass Track with CSX engine #4384 & 37 cars.

the equipment is used to cut the brush and trees down on both sides of the main.
started working east waverly to the east a couple of weeks ago pass the tower here.
the unit is self powered.

7:10 PM: Per a very reliable source: there is an Ex UP Flag (CP Patch) SD9043MAC parked in Barr Yard right now, Chicago area railfans are speculating that it could possibly end up on Q326 in the next day or two, but like I said it’s not 100% certain.

What would we be listening for on the scanners (if he's the leading engine)? Is this a CSX engine now? UP engine? What is its engine # ??

It’s a CP Patch, so it’s now owned by CP, the unit is numbered #3747, but yet, my friends in Chicago aren’t sure if it’s gonna be on 326 yet.

I wouldn't count on this... these units were bought for parts for SD70ACU's... I've never seen them leave yards

G764 spotted one of the trains in Webberville, leaving the second one at Trowbridge. Before they left they pulled any cars from the Anderson’s and ADM and parked them on the main. Then they aired the cars up and left them on the lead into ADM for D708 to pick up.

D708 couldn’t start work in Ensel until after D706 left around 15:00. They left Ensel after 18:00

N802-07 @ 04:05:42 eastward Bangor’s W. Monroe St crossing cam mp CG60.72 with UP engine #7292 + UP engine #7021 (both on the head end & elephant style) & 116 loaded coal cars. He went into Grand Jct siding mp CG55.6 & tied down.

Amtrak P371-09 @ 07:29:36 westward Bangor’s Center St cam crossing mp CG60.35 with AMTK engine #59 & 3 SuperLiner cars. (0 passengers On/Off at the station mp CG60.5)
