CSX Train Location Updates: November, 2018.

Todays 328-329 meet (Monday was in South Lyon, even though 329 was pulling into the pass there before 328 even went by Howell. Q32805 went east by Howell at 07:15 with CSX 4571+5213 and 42 cars, Q32905 went west at 08:20 with CSX 7698-5346 and 69 cars.

Overnight, G75804 went east from Grand ledge at 22:30 with CSX 3420+700 and 90 cars, and V65502 went west at 23:10 with CSX 3293 leading. Train was for Webberville. After running around it at Williamston to tie back onto their train to go back east to Webberville, it was discovered an air hose on the lead of 3293 was defective and the crew could not get the old one off to repair it. With multiple options, the crew tied back onto the west end to keep air on the train, and as far as I know, the train still remains dead on the main at Williamston at of 11:00 this morning.

Q32906 by Howell at 09:30. CSX 3034 single unit with 70 cars. Back half of the train were perhaps the storage cars that were set off at Plymouth several days ago, most all with former logo's in tact from Chessie System, B&O Capital Dome, C&O For Progress and a ton of brown Conrail boxcars with NYC reporting marks Q32806 went east through Howell at 07:25 with CSX 3293 & NS 9892 and 73 cars.

Q327 by Bangor Camera at 22:10 tonight behind a single GEVO with 103 cars, including a long cut of the CR/NYC reporting mark boxcars noted on Q329 earlier today:

No sign of the what I assume to be covered hoppers sporting the various CSX predecessor schemes. Q327 met P370 at Gross which is running late tonight with one Charger and 3 Superliners; no rear unit.

At 22:10, a D801 coal empty was getting permission to enter the Fremont Sub SB from the plant, so that will be going south tonight as well.

Trains by Howell since daylight. Grain load from Webberville went east at 07:03, traveling as G01007 but should become G75807 later. CSX 147+5366 with 90 cars. Q32907 went west at 08:15 with CSX 3098+4079 and 80 cars. First 28 were coal cars lettered PMRX, formally with other reporting marks, I believe silver with green ends. Q32807, reported at Lansing earlier went east at 09:34, CSX 3296 single unit with 89 cars.

Those were covered hoppers yesterday with the C&O-B&O-Chessie logos on them.
