Heard them leave for Clare at 0845.

398 and 397 returned at 1430 with 2 tanks, 1 boxcar, 1 pole load and 1 additional tank.

Southbound thru Howell. 380 and 385. Not many cars though.

398 & 397 arr Cadillac at 1611. Looks to be 3 coke 13 ties 1 pole load 4 covered hoppers and one LP tanker.

Here's another one from April 7 in Cadillac. Crossing 5th St at Third Ave headed north.

Yesterday:

Left Cadillac for Clare at 0930.

398 and 397 returned at 1540 with 1 covered hopper, 1 tank, 2 pole loads, 1 covered hopper and 1 tank.

Left Cadillac towards Clare at 0830. Caught 2 empty centerbeams, the 2 pole loads from yesterday and 1 covered hopper. Had not returned as of 1600.

You will have different locomotives now up north,we caught 397&398 in Durand last night heading to Osmer.

399 and 396 leaving Cadillac towards Clare at 0830 with 4 pole loads for McBain and 2 tanks.

399 and 396 left Cadillac towards Clare at 0925 with 1 pole load, 9 loads of ties, 1 idler flat, 1 pole load, 1 idler flat and 1 pole load.

396 and 399 returned at 1455 with 1 empty centerbeam and 4 covered hoppers. 3 of the hoppers were feed, not sure about the other one.

Looks like McBain was busy this morning.

Happy to see the tie loads returning. When the business started they projected 2000 car loads per year. That's an average of 8 per day or 40 per week. They probably didn't get that many but it's still nice business.
