8:21 - D700 is just about ready to depart from Wyoming,RN already has them lined. Trouble is, they have a bad EOT. Tried dumping the E-brakes and trying again, no dice. Driver bringing them a new one. Sounds like a dead battery on the first one. 2630 is their called power. Sounds like they have a lot of work today.

e80022 in the system, with e80123 called at 11:30am. May be a D80323 on duty right now, but no coal loads seen for west olive out of Chicago.

Power is CSX 4820, CSX 8523 and CSX 2639, and they were all smoking up good trying to drag the train up the crest at East Saugatuck.

I got skunked trying to get there...got to 139th and I heard "clear on a pair Saugatuck". Got beat back all the way to Waverly.

Here they are, heading east at 112th:

At 10:05, D700 west at 30. They have a pickup at Sawyer and New Buffalo, and have the GLLX C&O caboose to setout in Hartford.

Y121 will be heading for Zeeland shortly. They'll work the Fremont after the empties mentioned earlier get out of the way.

At West Olive, there's a fully assembled empty train with power, and right next to it is a set of power. Wonder if D803 assembled the empties, then will taxi to Wells to be the headend of a coal train, with the empties supplying the shove?

WB sitting in the siding here at Fowlerville. 5120 is the lead with 787. Seen the local heading EB but lost sight. Currently the crossing gates are down at the Grand Ave crossing which has traffic screwed up.

They now started moving west but the conductor is out looking for something as the train passes by him. Not sure what he's looking for.

With all the action reported on the west side of the state today, in Howell, still looking for something to go by. The train firemedic reported was yesterdays D70824 with 92 cars who died in Fowlerville last night at 8pm with crossings cut. Train now being re-crewed by todays D70725, and taking it to Lansing. As soon as D707 pulled out of the pass heading west, todays D70825 backed into the siding behind them to switch Ashai-Kesei. Still waiting for a train here.
