CSXT TRAIN LOCATION UPDATES 3/11/2016

Unread post by ~Z~ »

Q32611 is rolling east, nearing Holland depot as of 8:19am.
8:39am edit: q326 by zeeland and D70011 is going to await them at Hudsonville.

11:25am - d700 is somewhere west of Holland heading towards Benton Harbor area. They have to work Sawyer and run around train at New Buffalo. No word out of MS z627 yet. MOW has siding at Saugatuck.. he said he still sees activity at Green Valley Agricultural industry on the siding, but dispatcher said they haven't used CSX in quite a while, "i wonder if they fired us?"

They are probably using their Moline facility more then the Saugatuck one. I wonder why that would be???? That is them at Moline isn't it?

Yes, correct on the name for the Moline one. Certainly makes sense they'd use GDLK over there. Caught Y121 a few times working the Saugatuck siding one, too bad they won't likely use it much anymore.

I took a few tanks out there last fall. The Moline facility gets different products than the one at East Saugatuck. The later just doesn't get much by rail any more.

Saw tail end of something NB clearing Middle River at 17:50. Might have been Q322; scanner was garbled. Presently D708 is slowly making its way westbound from Plymouth with CSX 4066 + 8523 + 50 cars.

Saw D707 doing their usual stopped on the main and tied down between Woodbury and Lake O while the power worked in town. Even longer than they were on Tuesday. The tail end was right at M-66 and the head end was all the way around the curve and just short of Eaton Hwy. That's got to be darn close to 10,000' .
