When the are done with potential set outs or pick ups. I have observed them do pick ups and set outs both ways, and on some occasions they go straight through. Just depends.

39E southbound with NS C40-9W #9682 and the Conrail heritage unit on the #1 Detroit Line at Wyandotte, Pennsylvania Road at 1533 hours. Consist included a Canadian government covered hopper.

I always thought that both trains came up or down the Jct. Yard Branch from Oakwood, and bypassed Livernois completely? Is this not the case anymore?
