First one is overexposed a bit, it looks kinda fuzzy on the nose, and I would level off of the locomotive cab roof. The second one has too much red & blue in it, adjust the color temp and you can also back the red off in the selective color adjustment. The third one isn't interesting enough for RP and there's too much grey and not enough tonal range as a black and white. The fourth one looks over exposed a tiny bit... as for the color, mask it and adjust the contrast and/or vibrance.

First shot, CLOCKWISE Rotation.

Second, Dark and kind of purple. Id play with the RAW and get it close in there.

Third. Yeah, I think it was too dark.

4th looks way yellow, Should be able to fix that.

The 4th one appears flat and washed out, and the sky is a pale purple. I took a quick swing at correcting the color cast and adding some pop to the image using the curves adjustment. Something like this might do the trick.

Just a note Frank, but in your caption of shot #3 you said the train is bound for Marion, Ohio. The train is on the Marion Branch, which is named for Marion, Indiana. NOT Ohio.
