Looks like 3492 was one of the two IBCX SD40-2s that were being stored on the Indiana Northeastern last summer:

Hoping it’s not the end of the link for those two Geeps, thanks to the Michigan Tech University railcamp I attended back in August of 2021, we toured the Eagle Mills mine and the two locomotives that were there. Definitely something I won’t forget anytime soon. Photos in the cabs obviously taken with permission and was given the ok to post on social media, photos were not allowed inside the mine.
The fact they went with two SD40-2’s maybe means they have more traffic projected, definitely a good thing!
