230 axles on L302 at Fowlerville with 53 cars proved the HZRX unit to be a six axle. Could not find any HZRX 858 on The Diesel shop but did find 859. When looking at the unit going by, I was debating whether the unit was 858 or 859, so it just may have been 859.

L302-30 by Howell at 18:38 following L305 with single unit 8095 west to Lansing. L302 had 7246 + 732 and what looked like HZRX 858 with 53 cars. The HZRX unit was mentioned on the board not too long ago as coming for someone here in Michigan. I believe this may have been a six axle unit?

Yes, L302-29 ran with single unit 7008 yesterday. I had every intention of saying that when I made my post, thus the comment that back on Jan. 9th it had another unit with it then. (435) So much for another slip of the mind or you would not have had to ask, Tom.

L302-29 over the DD at Fowlerville at 18:38 with 48 cars. 7008 (not 708 as reported earlier) 7008 was also on L302 paired with 435 on January 9th.

L302-25 by Howell at 17:35 with 56 cars. 758+ 5482 on the head end.

L302-23 by Howell at 17:55. 3322 + 4720 on the head end with 37 cars. There was a five pack empty container car on the rear which may mess up the count later on. Fowlerville showed 168 axles which would equate to 39 cars. I did count the container car as one car.

Last night's G804-12 empty grain train for Webberville never got spotted. Because of the severe cold, crew stopped east of Webberville, cut off from its train and went into the plant to see if the switch's worked in the plant before running around their train at Williamston. Both L303 & L302 had to stop at Ann Pere today and "press the button" to get a signal because a dead GLC train parked to close to the diamond.

L302-13 had 392 leading. Could not read the 2nd unit for sure. Looked to be a two digit number, 85 perhaps.
