If I'm not mistaken Patrick Monitor (MI Sugar) already does a fair amount of railroad business. Is there any speculation whether rail traffic will decrease or increase if it converted to biodiesel?

Durand

I haven't downloaded my pictures yet but Durand was a great day yesterday! I was there from 7:45am-7pm and saw 15-16 trains or so. At least four of them switched the yard providing for steady action most of the day with a few really busy times and of course a few slower times.

Dave Lang - Durand

I'm better than 50/50 of going to Durand. Unless you get a better offer feel free to bring the grill over to my house.

Dave Lang asked me to bring the grill. I won't know if I'm coming until Friday after work. So it's best if someone who is more certain they'll attend make arrangements with Dave to get the grill.

I figured his luck would run out someday but never in my wildest imagination would I have predicted he'd be stung by a sting ray. I thought one of those croc's would get him one of these days.

There's an unofficial MIGN Society. As far as I'm concerned Pat C is the Pres (but he may deny it :) Right now it consists of once or twice a year lunch's in which usually a former MIGN employee will show up and tell stories. If you keep an eye on the website I posted you'll be in the loop and know ...

I've had some very enjoyable early morning jogs close to railroad ROW's. My last one was the entire TSBY from the east side of Sans Yard to about 1 mile north on the Oakley Branch. It's not always easy staying within sight of the tracks from public property but it's always worth the effort.
