At 11:45 AM INER 3084 and 3125 were taking 7 tank cars and a covered hopper into Coldwater.

It sounds like the GDLK is out working early again this morning. Presumably will be northbound like yesterday.

Hearing the GDLK EOT telemetry in Plainwell. It's been there for a bit so I presume they're in Otsego Usually that means they'll be northbound when they're done.

You may want to check with the local folks. On Google Earth it does not look like the Oregon Branch gets much if any use, except very close to the yard. Its a loner trip, but Savanna may be more fruitful if you want lots of train action.

Never heard of the Elk hitting someone on foot before.

You might think about the Oregon Depot Museum. Its on the BNSF west of Rochelle. They're only normally open on Saturdays, but maybe a volunteer would be willing to come in for a couple railfans.
