With the turnover in seniority, you no longer need 30 years to be the 'crotchety old head' of railroad days gone by. Now you only need ~13 to 15. He's not alone in that mentality...

Re: Marion Signal Suspension

With the Central Ohio RPM meet the past Thursday, Friday and Saturday there were a bunch of photos posted on the Marion Railfans Facebook group and it looks like all the "old" signals were removed with the exception of the eastbound NSs that were tarped but not removed. Maybe you should reread what...

Re: Grand Rapids Terminal Sub - Updated Maps

I've said it before and I'm going to repeat it again. if you can't say something positive, maybe it shouldn't be said. Here's me, still laughing! Did you ever wonder why all your "old" good friends are becomming pricks? Just asking. Either way your still WRONG. Le...

OK, I will throw in my unsolicited $0.02, again :D A) Some of you guys ARE sometimes too harsh with MQT and other young members. B) MQT, and others, often DO put themselves in a position to be criticized. C) As older more experienced people, we can, IMHO, correct and teach these cubbies in a more p...

No reason to lock it. It is perfectly on track, unlike the subject matter. Lots of hot air, with a little bit of truth, just how its supposed to be.

Re: Oil Trains

heavy train with liquid sloshing around back and forth that requires 3 big AC units to control. That is just a broken knuckle waiting to happen, 2 up front and one at the rear make that less of an issue. CSX won't allow more than 2 AC units on the point of a train on the Garrett and Willard subs ex...
