My late mom's late cousin lived in a old white house which is just next to the main line on the right until it was razed about 30 years ago...

Re: Where Is It?
That sounds correct. Photo is on the side of a building in town. Part of the depot that was torn down was remade into a 2D depot and is on the side of the building as well. Caledonia, in Kent County, was served by the old New York Central, ex Michigan Central RR passenger train that ran between GR ...

Futher to what I wrote on Oct 10, 2022 about AA2TC At the Ann Arbor end, the old interchange track between AA and MCRR would have to be installed including four quadrent gates at Main St. and power switches on both ends. After train gets on MCRR they would use the existing Amtrak depot. Than there ...

Is the track in the picture still in place or is it the bottom (out of picture) that’s still in place? From 1978. I believe this spot has been show before. The main difference is that now the tracks end short of the main road but are still in use. http://railroadfan.com/gallery/albums/userpics/1133...

DEHOCO, Detroit House of Corrections. The lower half of Salem Hill. Actually, I’ve heard some people refer to it as DEHOCO Hill, but I think they were mostly old heads. The prison has been gone for a few decades. Indeed former location of Detroit House of Correction, Plymouth Township, Wayne County...
