Nice snow shot, Tim. Did you hear anything else on the scanner today? Conrail Mike said a train of coal empties was SB on the Saginaw sub. When it came thru Northville at 18:30 I didn't hear anything on my scanner either.

Got skunked at Plymouth (was there until almost 4 pm), but caught an unusually-early Q32129 SB on the way back to Northville. Power was CEFX 3117 and CSX 7383. Had 82 cars; about 55 were liquefied petroleum gas (aka propane, placard #1075). Cleared 7 Mile Rd. about 16:15.

Coming back from downtown Detroit about 1 pm I saw 2 CP units, #9583 and 8770, near what I thought to be Q32729 just south of Oak Yark, but not hitched up yet (they weren't there at 10 am this morning). Heading out to Plymouth now, will probably miss 327 by the time I get there.

Q32728 WB cleared Plymouth diamond about 14:55. Power was CSX 8530 and 7680. 35 cars, including several TSBY hoppers and 4 white UP reefers at the end (reporting marks ARMN).

The southbound came thru Northville about 11:30. On the scanner I heard the engineer call out the signal at 7 Mile and then Middle River; sounds like it was engine 7555. No train number.

Q32719 by Plymouth diamond at 14:30. I missed it crossing Mill St. by about 30 sec. so I don't know what the power was, but it was a fairly short train.

IIRC, wasn't 1225 supposed to go some steamfest at the Ohio Central a couple of years ago, and then had to back out?
