Re: Using waybills
I don't have any experience with waybills, but I have been experimenting with JMRI operations. I've been using it to build routes and trains for the layout. Then I let the program route the cars and build trains. It works pretty well but it took awhile to set everything up and get it running the way...

Re: Easter Morning Railfanning?
David, It's actually an app on my phone called "Plymouth Trains". The app was designed for residents of Plymouth to avoid long delays at rail crossing by being notified of trains blocking crossings. I don't think it was intended for railfans. But I thought it was cool to be able to see trains in Ply...

Easter Morning Railfanning?
Looking at the plymouth webcam this morning to see a stack train rolling through and noticed someone standing near the pole looking at the train. Wondered if it was someone from the site?

Re: A couple projects
Thanks for the compliments. Signals aren't perfectly straight but they are as close as I could get them. Here are a couple pics of the progress. Now I just need to install LED's http://railroadfan.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10457/thumbnail_28729.jpg http://railroadfan.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10...

A couple projects
Just wanted to share a couple things. First I've been working on a 2 track Signal bridge. The bridge kit is an NJ International kit and the signals are Show Case Miniatures kits. these kits are very nice, really accurate and seem to be close to scale. But man are they hard to put together. I've been...

Re: Richmond, Romeo & Rochester (RR&R)
Looks good! I also like the weathered cars. I know what you mean about the locomotives. I have yet to develop a set technique that I like so weathering is always an experiment. And I have made some mistakes! But they sure look better than they do out of the box.

CSX GP38 2014
Here is one more attempt at patching a Chessie to CSX number. This is GP38 2014. I started with an atlas GP38 and added a few Proto-type details in reference to photos. The most notable detail being the spark arrestors. Not sure if I used the correct type but these were the only ones I could find an...
