9and10new.com is reporting a truck vs. train accident in town. According to the report a truck hauling wood was struck by an LSRC train. They're reporting the driver didn't look both ways and was struck by the train. No injuries reported.

WB going through Genoa Twp. towards Howell. Just out of range so I couldn't see numbers.

WB passed thru here about 15 minutes ago now an EB going thru here in Genoa Twp. heading towards Brighton. Just a little far for me to catch the numbers.

Again another very unfortunate but preventable accident.

Wasn't the CSX television ad filmed in St. Joseph? Or at least near there?

Plus Durand will be safer. Obviously crime can happen anywhere at anytime but a much less chance of any issues in Durand.

How is it deemed dangerous? Blind spots? Poor visibility? Rough crossing? Just asking...

Just passed through downtown Holly. Looked at the signals for EB (or SB) and there's a red over yellow aspect. I'm guessing they're lining up something for the siding?

It would be pretty neat to this happen but if they can't get the current project going then I don't see it coming to life. I would ride it for sure.
