Southbound grain train going through downtown Holly. Saw 2 engines but couldn't see numbers through the trees.

Hearing reports a car hit a train in Burton about an hour ago. Unsure where but a CSX train is involved. EDIT: My bad...it was CN. DOH!!!!

Sounds like a NB coming thru Rose Township (Holly) now. Just off in the distance so can't get a read on the numbers.

Just drove past the EB signal in Howell at Michigan Ave. Signal showing a red/yellow/yellow aspect.

Short WB thru Fowlerville with 4049 running long hood forward. Not many cars on it.

Same spot in Fowlerville now has red over yellow over yellow indication. Something being lined up to take the siding?

Eastbound came thru. 7629 on point with 524.

Sitting here in Fowlerville. High green just popped up on the signal in town near the grain elevator for eastbound.

While driving back to our fire station in Rose Twp. I was heading through downtown Holly and saw the eastbound signals with red over yellow aspect. As I crossed the tracks I looked east and could see a dim headlight on the main. I spun back around and shortly afterwards the eastbound train slowly ap...

And another eastbound coming thru. Couldn't see the previous one but it was moving very slow compared to this one.

NB thru Fenton towards Durand with the blue CN IC unit as the second unit. Mostly autoracks.

Maybe they're putting 2 trains together to get caught up after the derailment in Durand put them a little behind? IDK just a thought...do they even do anything like that??

The crossing at E. Maple in downtown Holly is still closed till at least Friday for replacement and crossing work. Limited traffic during the day with most traffic at night.

I haven't noticed any changes in traffic. Wonder if they're going down the line and fixing some of the other crossings?

I've driven by there several times at different times of the day. It seems sporadic, not really sure they have a set time but I could be wrong.

Not a candidate for a Darwin Award this time...Again,in my line of business, it's job security!!
