Fell through what fell through nothing was going on. Its always sources and blah blah blah if it was legit then we would have more ...

Here are more details on each of the regular jobs and their duties. LSW-1 The daytime Lima Switcher comes on at 0600 every weekday to switch the yard, build the outbound LSL, spot and pull cars from Ford, and go to the Ottawa Loop when needed. Typically the LSW-1 will go to Ottawa in the early after...

When the Grand Trunk Western (owned by Canadian National) put the former DT&I mainline from Diann, Michigan to Springfield, Ohio up for sale in 1996, the Ohio Valley Transportation Services company came up with the winning bid and began operating the line as the Ohio Northern RR in 1997. Trackage ri...

Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday is the general operating plan for the DSWI to go to Flat Rock.

Neither of the Delta jobs work on Sunday and there is no extra board right now, so no Sunday runs.

Early heads up on this. R-FTWCHI is westbound between Valpo and Hobart currently with CFER 9392 and 9401 for power and 52 cars. Computer shows the CHIFTW will turn back tomorrow with 109 cars for Fort Wayne. Both the 9392 and 9401 retain full SP paint as opposed to the other two ex-SP tunnel motors ...

It's a rather busy Friday evening on the CF&E. Here's a rundown of what's out there right now. L-WARVAL went to Valpo from Warsaw this afternoon. Train is currently in the siding at Hamlet to wait on the R-FTWCHI before continuing back to Warsaw to tie up for the weekend. Power is CFER 4000 with sev...

Chicago, Fort Wayne & Eastern RR

Let's imagine that instead of RailAmerica's CF&E leasing the former Pennsy from Chicago to Crestline in 2004, a different group leased it and started a railroad under the same name. In early 2004, CSX Transportation, Norfolk Southern and Mid-America Transportation LLC came to terms on a five year le...

The LNL will occasionally work Patrick Plastics in Leipsic, but any work in the Ottawa Loop is typically handled by a local crew out of either Delta or the Lima yard crew. Mike, the Delta crew will work Delta-Ottawa from time to time. Lima Yard crew will work as far south as Jackson Center if needed.
