17:35 - L302 west through South Lyon. Green Oak DD at CH39.1 said 393 axles.

Head power on L302-06 was 5438 +7228. Being this detector is often one digit off, assume the count was 392 which would equal 95 cars minus the locomotives.. 5438 was also on L302 back on 2-15-24.

L302-05 by Howell at 17:13 with 67 cars. 745 +313 on the head end.

Evidently when I reported the project was starting, it became obvious later that they were only doing perk tests. Was there two weeks ago and everything is status que, aka nothing further has been done.

Have not been out of Michigan in four years. A total solar eclipse isn't enough to get me there again. To all those going, I say go for it.

L302 & L303 met in Howell at 17:45. Looked as if all the loaded wooden ties seen on X510 at Deshler yesterday were scrap ties for GLC, About 25 of them near the head end of L302.
