I've read that the C420 had considerabley less tractive effort than many of the other ALCo's including the RS2, 3, 11, 424, and 425. Yet, it seems to have been a popular engine (for ALCo). For that matter the M420's also had very low tractive effort. In the real world though were they good pullers?...

So this is the gen... The GP15, GP30U and GP35 are staying, they are in hire to cuyahoga and as they are used engine hours are written down and paid for that time. They are not leaving anytime soon.
