Amtrak recently issued a press release that advised about a mile of PTC had been placed in service on their Chicago Terminal Sub. From Union Station north to CP-Canal is .57 mi. and from Union Station south to CP-21st St is 1.64 mi. That is a total of 2.21 mi. If a mile was recently installed, was t...
Has the agent been reinstated at East Lansing? Are there still agents airport Huron or Flint? What a shame about Kzoo- back in 1994 when Irode my first Wolverine the conductor told me that Kzoo had the busiest patronage of any intermediate station
On Friday the 13th 121 blocked Milwaukee Jct. for about three hours, delaying Amtrak 352 and 355. Does this train work at North Yard? Am wondering if he had a long train that was left on the main while making a pickup or setoff?

Anyone know what happened to #355 tonight? It left Royal Oak 3 minutes late but arrived Detroit 3 hours late. It just left Dearborn at 9:37 PM. Amtrak Twitter said it was freight train interference. I attempted to listen to the radio stream on Broadcastify; however, the broadcaster from that area d...
Thanks BH,blueheron13 wrote:I'm guessing you heard NS 121 going through Milwaukee Junction. No CN 121s around here.
I thought Milwaukee Jct was CN (GTW). Does NS (Wabash) or Conrail cross there, or would an NS train be operating over CN trackage rights?

Amyone know if ITCS has been extended east of Kalamazoo. Someone told me new ITCS signs have been installed in Battle Creek at Gord and Barron. MDOT told me that ITCS was operational between Town Line and Kalamazoo on April 6. I saw a bulletin that showed the speed restriction through Albion is all...

This morning the 10th, #48 showed an arrival of 5:11 am and departure of 6:50 am while #49 came in at 5:59 and left at 6:19. I believe that the station is served by a single track. Assuming this is still true, #48 would have backed up to Drawbridge to let #49 come in and then pulled back into the st...

The P42 that handled train #365 into Battle Creek on April 12 was #64. The locomotive failed there (don't know what happened) and train #353 had to tow it into Chicago.
