Re: Cincinnati Northern remains in Jackson
The last rail shipments from Gerdau were steel dust. When the production line closed there was no more dust to ship out. Seems like it averaged a couple cars a week.

Re: Great Lakes Central Updates May 2024
TY LRF What is ONTN scheduled start time? So far it seems the new GM is keeping the south turn on a day schedule. I have been told there is less congestion at their interchanges during the day so it seems like it would make sense if that is true. 09:06 - GLC "OSTN" is SB thru Durand with 382/391 and...

Does CSX get any of the chemical or scrap metal traffic?
ConrailDetroit wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 8:24 pmIn Detroit, CSX currently seems to have very little presence or interest in Conrail anymore, aside from the intermodal to and from Livernois, and a CSX Dispatcher controlling the Lincoln Secondary.

Re: Lake State Railway
Pinconning Jct. and Pinconning Terminal are the same location. The day job makes up both night road trains in Bay City yard and takes them, connected, to Pinconning where they are separated. The night crews start and end from Pinconning. There are occasional changes but the above is the normal routi...
