Re: Would You Rather?

Would you rather have to speak in rhyme for the rest of your life or have to speak in riddles for the rest of your life? Both are fun but I think rhyming will serve me better like former President Obama Would you rather have to work next to someone who clears their throat or has an annoying laugh?

Re: White Cloud question

About 30 cars a week (three blocks of 10 cars) of whatever that chemical was still being delivered via UP-CN-CMGN in the 90's. I don't know if it still is or not. There was also the Dow Special on Sundays and the empties back on Thursday. I also recall the occasional GR-Baldwin turn when needed. Not...

The second is easier but less prudent so let it rip

Re: MMRR industries/HESR new connection in Alma

My notes from the early 90’s read 10-30 a day. Probably more on Monday and less the rest of the week. Natural Gas Liquified (I was told NGL, not butane or propane) was shuttled from Kalkaska to the refinery averaging six cars a week. As for the pig iron traffic going away... All I can say is; LOL.
I read many many years ago that NS also had a share of the pig iron traffic (maybe from Toledo?). Maybe that's the source of the rumor although Y@ pretty much cleared it up.
