Re: A few from the Toledo Sub and a few more from Fostoria
Here's a picture of the caboose. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7106/8156705658_70b9fdda0f.jpg Fostoria 5-9-12 005 by CF&E East , on Flickr I have a cool video of it leading, blowing its whistle for the crossing in front of the B&O depot in Fostoria that I tried to link up here. I don't know if I was...

Re: BNSF "Heritage" Hoppers/Cabeese
Cool that's the first pictures I have saw. I guess there's 9 different roads represented in the Hopper series... I read somewhere else that there are going to be more BNSF Heritage Cabooses(as James pointed out, Heritage Caboose Series), so I don't think its relative to anything quite specific like ...

Good evening guys, I always wonder where them rail trains are heading every time I see one.....We have a Local in town(featuring CF&E 3883 it appeared) switching the elevator right now in Ada, looks be be picking up about 25 or so loaded covered hoppers. The Welded rail train went East through Ada at about 10PM exactly tonight, but the 6412 wasn't on it, a lone CF&E unit was the power.

Re: Everything/Anything CF&E thread...Part 2
Wow impressive for over here on the East side. Nice Catch! Usually the local is small and doesn't have much variety to the it, and usually the only trains with size are the grainers. That thing looks like a road freight. Wish I would have seen that over here in Ada. I haven't had any luck seeing tra...

Yesterdays NS 749 featuring the 8099 (Southern)
Hi guys, Yesterday I was fortunate to get to see the Southern Heritage engine on NS train 749. It was unfortunately trailing 3rd out(in some harsh sun), but I'll take them any way I can get them. I found the train sitting in Fostoria, waiting on CSX traffic. I was getting a few shots from the end of...

Re: Norfolk Southern through Beaverdam
Last evening at about 5:00 p.m. a northbound train of empty coal cars passed through Beaverdam on the NS. I imagine this was one of the trains that went southbound in the spring. Nothing profound, but interesting to see. I hope they keep pulling them and I can get a shot of one of the moves through...

I think that CORP 4024 may be working the elevator here in Ada right now. Looked like it from 3 blocks away with hardly any light hitting the locomotive.

Re: NKP 765 Official Schedule, News Briefs
I had a good time "Chasing" the train! I know I took excellent pix; I'll upload some after developing/scanning! I knew where to catch it, instead of hurrying and "Leap-Frogging!" I was able to see it three times each direction! I used my DeLorme Atlas and following SR 25 worked well! I even ate Lon...
