A must see video for any railfan!
I usually don't post video's on here or anything like this but, this video was taken by a friend of mine and some of you railfans may even be able to relate to it! It's very over dramatic and in my opinion really funny

Re: Proto 2000 Cracked Gears
Yup, my Proto 2000 NYC GP30 had the same problems. 3 out of 4 gears were split! I had a friend install Northwest Shortline gears in it. They were not cheap ($20) but, they were worth it, my GP30 runs really good now. I belive like some others said that this is a problem with a lot of the older 4 axe...

Re: TLE&W To Become a Common Carrier?
Well first things first, they need to actually connect with the rest of the national rail system. It woudl be an easy fix but at the East end of Waterville the line is actually cut as rails are removed on both tracks between it and the end of the Maumee Branch. Somebody needs to make Spencer Wendel...

Re: TLE&W To Become a Common Carrier?
I am a Volunteer with the TLE&W RR. I am not a board member but, I have been an active volunteer for almost 4 years. First off, this plan is curently just talk right now. No contracts or deals have been signed yet. From the sound of the plans the company (midwest rail) really is interested in gettin...

About the last bastion of CPL's in Ohio are pockets of signals on the New Castle Sub (which are falling fast though), the Toledo Subdivision (including Deshler) and the Cincy Terminal trackage.

When are they set to come down on the Toledo, sub?

TLE&W Motorcar Rides; Open To The Public
The Toledo Lake Erie & Western Railway is offering motorcar rides this summer instead of our usual "Bluebird Passenger Train" Which was recently robbed of $75,000 worth of gear. Anyways I made a video about it and posted it to Youtube. it's not the best video but, I am just trying to get passengers ...

Re: NS Maumee Branch
I live in Maumee & yes , you are correct about the BNSF 50FT boxcars. There were 2 of them as of yesterday at that industrie by the Anderson's. I really don't think that the plant North of the turnpike gets rail service anymore. The tracks are still in though. I could be wrong though. I'll go check ...

Re: TLE&W Robbery
One thing the news and the Blade forgot to mention was they unscrewed the fuel line on our motorcar. This would have leaked hot gas on anyone operating it! Donations would be great! This would mostlikely go to buying engin parts. The Blade did mention the fuel line incident but, not too much was sa...

Just curious how many trains go trhough this town. Cool looking main st crossing. Yes it is a neat crossing a bell would not hurt on it but, it still is neat. I have a few videos up on Youtube of that railroad crossing. They are as of right now all night videos but, they focus point of the video is...
